Diane de Castro is a freelance makeup artist who has been in the beauty and fashion industry for more than a year now. She graduated from the University of the Philippines - Diliman and took up BS Industrial Engineering. She was active in school politics and academics. Her passion for beauty and makeup brought her into a whole different world, working with celebrities, top models, best photographers and stylists. This began when she took up Basic Makeup in the Center for Aesthetic Studies (CAS). She then joined the reality show for makeup artists "Maybelline NY Color Artist Search" and fortunately became one of the top 5 winners. After this, she started to pursue the career in makeup and saw the potential in this business. She did a lot of editorial works, prints, pictorials, tvc's. She also apprenticed under one of the best makeup artists in the Philippines, Leo Posadas, head makeup artist of Bed Head TIGI. In few months time, her talent was noticed and she was given a break to work with top photographers, did makeup for magazine covers and big ad campaigns. She enhanced her skills and studied Advance Makeup in CAS. She is also doing makeup for clients for weddings, debut, events and runways. Her specialization includes Makeovers, Headshots for Actors, Runway, Catalog and Magazine, and Anti-Aging Looks.
